Before reporting a problem

• Make sure the extension is enabled in Firefox Add-ons Manager.
• Open ChatGPT in a supported page scope and start a new answer generation.
• Check browser sound output and operating system volume/mute settings.
• Refresh the ChatGPT tab after installing or updating the extension.

Known limitations

• ChatGPT interface changes may temporarily affect completion detection.
• Browser autoplay or sound policies may affect audible playback until the tab has user interaction.
• The extension is focused on completion notification; it does not change ChatGPT behavior or send messages.

Include in a support request

• Extension name and version: ChatGPT Done Sound by MAXIOL LTD, version 1.0.12 or newer.
• Firefox version and operating system.
• Whether the problem happens in the active tab, background tab, or another browser window.
• Whether the issue is missing sound, repeated sound, or a false notification.
• Steps to reproduce the issue, without including private conversation text.

Privacy when contacting support

Do not send private ChatGPT conversation text unless you intentionally decide it is necessary. A description of the visible behavior is usually enough.
